Thanks for visiting my blog, where you’ll find musings on my experiences as a software developer. Currently, I’m the CTO of a small Windows software shop in the Seattle, WA area. It’s an ideal gig that allows me to stay in front of new technology developments, sharing them with my staff and my customers/partners. I have the privilege of working with a cracker-jack team of developers that keeps me honest and sharp (“iron against iron”). Despite attempts at becoming a polyglot, my favorite language continues to vacillate (perhaps weekly) between C# and C++.
If I could go back to school, I’d probably study quantum computation or nanotech. In the meantime, I’m content to watch the evolution of these nascent, thrilling disciplines from the sidelines.
Outside work, I try to keep things simple. I enjoy acting, singing, and playing guitar. I’m married to a beautiful, talented writer who I don’t deserve (please don’t tell her), and I have two children, one of each flavor. My most complicated relationship is with my dog. I think we may need couples counseling some day.
